Are there any really cheap orthodontists in Illinois?

I want to check into getting braces or at least retainers for my teeth. I'm low on cash and can't really travel very far out of state. Does anyone know of any places, orthodontists, or even web sites that could get me a really good/cheap deal? Thanks for your time guys!

You could try calling around and see if orthodontists can give you a price range over the phone. Most orthodontists offer consultations for little to no fee. You should check with at least 2 since payment and treatment options may vary. Some orthodontists offer monthly payment plans through their office with "x" money down, no interest and no credit check. There are also some orthodontists that offer financing through companies like Care Credit or Capital One. I don't think there is a such thing as a "good deal" on braces unless your dental insurance is covering a big portion. I am in Southern Illinois and my braces will be costing me $6000.
