do orthododntists file the teeth to get the glue off after having braces?

Do orthodontists file teeth to get glue from braces off?
No they don't file teeth to get braces off i should know i had braces on my teeth as a teenager got mine on at age 10 and off by 13 i think but no they dont do that
Reply:no, they dont file your teeth, what they use looks like a little electronic nail buffer thingy....It just gets the glue off, but doesnt hard your teeth, and you dont even feel it...
Reply:They do sometimes have to use a file-like instrument, but they're filing the glue, not your teeth.
Reply:no they dont file the tooth they do a process called scaling to remove it

Reply:They generally just polish the cement off, without harming the enamel underneath. It's pretty fragile cement they use, designed to come off pretty easily.
