I had a very bad over-bite in 4th grade and they used braces. I only had them on for 2 years and I got them taken off in 6th grade. Then I had to wear retainers..... I never had to wear headgear.... but i did have to wear the rubber bands that hook onto your braces... good luck!
How do dentsits/ orthodontists fix over-bites?
pretty sure they use braces...
Reply:I had a huge overbite, i still have my braces, you usually get braces, headgear (overnight only, dont worry) and then elastics from top to bottom of your teeth.
