Why don't dermatologists take pictures, but orthodontists do?

sorry idk

Why don't dermatologists take pictures, but orthodontists do?
unknown. :(
Reply:Your dental record is important since you only get 2 sets of teeth (baby and adult). Your skin is everlasting.
Reply:Because dermagtologists can see your skin easily while, orthodontists have to see every teeth individually to check if you have cavities or a disease.
Reply:i have know idea what you are saying but thanks for the points
Reply:If you mean xrays, then dermatologists don't need xrays to treat. If you mean photographs, then you may have an orthodontist that likes to have "before and after" pictures of his work. Dermatologists probably don't care, unless they are going to present it as a case study at a conference or if you have a really bizarre skin condition they want to show to their colleagues.
Reply:I worked in a dermatology clinic for two years. The doctors I worked with took pictures all the time.
Reply:pictures are not as important to dermatologists as to orthodontists.
