Are orthodontists required to provide their patients with protective glasses when using a curing light?

While (in Aus at least) there is no law sayng they have to, they leave themselves wide open for a law suit, because the damgers of staring into such a lght have well been documented.

always ask for goggles if they dont give them to you. I'm sure that their insurance company may also get a bit upset if they dont give them to you...
