DENTISTS OR ORTHODONTISTs?

Is it true that i can go into a Dental School to become a Dentist or Orthodontist right after finishing from Dental Hygiene without haveing a University degree???

DENTISTS OR ORTHODONTISTs?
You can indeed get into dental school without a bachelor's degree, but you must have completed a number of credits required by whichever dental schools you are applying to, plus all of your pre-dental required courses, and taken your DAT. This is a normal route of admissions for those who get into dental schools through a 7-year combined undergraduate / dental program. The guys in the 7-year combined programs get into dental school before their Bachelors is awarded-- Their first year of dental school counts as the last year of their bachelors studies.

As far as orthodontics go, you CANNOT get into an orthodontics program without a dental doctorate degree first (DDS or DMD). Ortho programs are strictly post-graduate.

Hope this helps.
Reply:dont no but be an orthodontist
