I'm in Oahu with my husband who is stationed at Schofield Barracks. When he deploys I'll be going to Alabama for school and it's near my family. I got my braces in Sep.2006. He says it will take about 2 years. I am 23 now. I signed a paper which estimated costs around $5,000 total. I will need to get an Alabama orthrodontist to finish the job beginning May.2007 to completion(about Sep.2008). I think braces are cheaper in Alabama, but what about transfer fees, etc? Anyone who moves a lot with braces know how everything will go financially, braces plan, etc? Am I stuck in a contract or do I simply end treatment, get a new estimate with Al orthodontist, and start anew? How does it all work? Thanks.
Does anyone know how transfering orthodontists works?financially, etc?
..DIFF ORTHYS WORK DIFF. YOU NEED TO PHONE THE ORTHY YOU WANA GO TO AND INFORM YOUR OLD ONE OF THE ORTHY. A LETTER OR TRANSFER WILL BE SENT AND RECORDS AND THEN THE NEW ORTHY WILL TELL YOUR WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT!!!
