OK!! I'm freaked out right now... (orthodontists plzzz)?

i didn't know that teeth moving so fast is a problem..... the story is....


i'm wearing braces for a year now.... but i just had a transplant operation last Sunday.... the previous Wednesday my orthodontist said i have the 2 tooth in the front shifted 1.5 mm to the right... and he will have to put somethimg that looks like a spiral tube to shift my tooth to the left....


he also said it's an active one... so he'll have to see my every 2 days to follow up with the shifting process, and that the speed varies from one patient to another.... my teeth hurt for like two days... just like everytime he changes the wire in the braces for me


my next appointment was the following saturday... (3 days later exactly) he measured the distance, and said "excellent... it moved 2 mm"!!!!!!!





i'm really worried if it's a bad thing...are my roots in danger? my next appointment is next month, i can't ask him before then....

hunny dunt worry... you may have fine roots but that shouldn't be a problem as long as u trust ur orthodontist.... u do right??


well you should talk to him about it... he's ur dr. he's seen ur teeth and can judge better....
