so for you out there that are orthodontist, do like doing what you do?,what do you do exactly? how long was school to become what you are? and most of all is there room for more orthodontist out there or theres too many????

Being an orthodontist?
After a four year dental education and a degree in dentistry, It takes two or three years more to become an orthodontist. You also have to pass a specialty exam. And perhaps some other things to get all your credentials in order. General dentists are doing more orthodontics all the time. This cuts down on the need for specialists. But there is room for more. Demand for orthodontics is increasing. It is a good life for raising a family.
Reply:my dad is an orthodontics and he kinda likes it.
Reply:orthodontists are in need. I work for an orthodontist and he loves what he does. It is so nice to see someone come in for the first time and they are not as happy as they could be. Then as they start to see changes in their smile they feel better about themselves. By the time they get the braces off the patients have completely changed and feel so good about themselves. You should see if there is an orthodontist in your area that you can go in and observe to see if it would be something you would be interested in going for.
