I had an underbite and the orthodontist fixed it, then they put in braces to bring my teeth together, and then they gave me a retainer for my upper and lower jaw, if i don't wear those retainers, will my underbite come back, or will my teeth get messed up?
What if i only wear my top retainer, will my underbite come back?

I outgrew all of that good stuff. So then they performed a surgery on me, when I was 19.
You don't want your mouth cut apart by a sawzall. Believe me.

Reply:wear them all the time until your ortho says otherwise because your teeth havent fixed in place properly and it might come back, dont worry after a while you will only have to wear them at nights and thats a lot better.
just remember KEEP WEARIN THEM
