ok well im going to the orthodontist soon and i wanted to know what i might get if i have a cross bite and an over bite? will i need braces or what do i need?

Depends on the severity of the overbite/ crossbite. I know of cases where it has been fairly well corrected by using rubber bands attached to the braces, although I don't know about how this works.
Reply:Well it will be a lot more expesive if you want to correct an over bite. They will have to re position your jaw bone. In other words, break it!! Yes then line it up. I have braces and one orthodentist explained it all to me.I didn't go for that option. I just got them straightened without correcting the over bite.
