Orthodontist Appt?

I am so nervous. I have a second orthodontist appt on Thursday. I had the records done at my first appt. What should I expect? He told me at the first appt that I would need some extractions. How long after extractions were braces applied? Please help!!!

Thanks in advance for your help!!!!

Orthodontist Appt?
It depends on what exactly your orthodontist has planned. Are you going for a consultation to review your x-rays %26amp; pictures or are they placing the appliances?

Regardless, the orthodontist will not be extracting your teeth. You will be referred to your dentist or an oral surgeon to have the teeth removed. Some orthodontists prefer to have the extractions done first, some will wait until after the appliances are placed.

Call and ask them what the appointment is for. One orthodontist can do things very differently than another and no one but your orthodontist and/or their staff can tell you what to expect next.
Reply:Its not that bad. After the records and things they might put in spacers, or something to that extent.. it could be anywhere between a month to a couple months.. every orthodontist is different.. it took me a month to get my braces on.. but they are off now.. so it just depends on your ortho..
Reply:...USUALLY A WEEK OR 2
