Orthodontist told me i need braces! the cost of the treatment is $5,975!!!!!?

i have a 50% overbite so i need braces..my plan is to go back to the philippines and get my braces there because its cheap compare to $5,975 and comeback here in the u.s. But this is my problem cause if i got my braces put on in the philippines i also need adjustments here in the u.s..how will i continue my treatment here in the u.s? is it still expensive to see an orthodontist here just for adjustments and treatment? and how much for adjustments and treatment?

Most of the time if you have another Orthodontist put on the brace and then go see a new Orthodontist they will want all your record ie: x-rays and impressions from the original Doctor there for you will be starting fresh with them and the New orthodontist my not agree with how the braces where places from the original Doctor. Most of the time you can however negotiate a price explain to the orthodontist that you can not afford $5975 and see if they are willing to come down at all on the price. Because it truly does not cost that much for them to do the work for you. Sometimes they will work out payments also that you don't have to pay this all at once.
