My son's orthodontist has not been available to see him for over 3 months. I try to call and no one answers the office phone. I have already paid for the treatment in full and now I am stuck with a 13 year old in braces indefinetly it seems. Who can I contact or should I file a lawsuit to get my money back so that I can take him to another orthodontist?
My orthodontist has been on medical leave for 3 months and now no answer at his office. What can I do?
You can either go there in person, or send a registered letter that someone has to sign for... this would be to see if anyone was indeed at least taking calls/referring out to another orthodontist.
You can file a complaint with your state's dental board, as well as your states education department (licensing board)... in the meantime, you may want to consult another orthodontist, but let them know what's going on. Who knows, maybe they'll have some info for you that they heard from the 'dental grapevine'.
Best of luck!
Reply:You should go over there in person first. See what they have to say, then decide whether to get your money back or not
